The site sets none of its own. The booking calendar is run by Acuity Scheduling and sets cookies of its own when you open it. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets two, _ga and _ga_RFTNV3584Y, to count visits and see how the site is used. They keep for up to two years, and what they record goes to Google, which runs the service.

Decline, or choose nothing, and nothing is loaded from Google Analytics. Your choice is remembered in this browser and can be changed at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of the site.

Stepping out of the sauna into the orchard

Hi, we’re Adam and Harriet.

One night, sitting in our family garden, we had an idea. We love the nature of our working garden and orchard. It helped us connect and feel relaxed and we just wanted to share it.

At the same time, we were getting into cold water therapy and saunas. So we thought why not have a sauna at home and share it with local people.

We searched and searched for the perfect sauna. One that had big windows so you can sit and look at the view. One that we could have completely off grid so it was kind to the environment. One that felt properly connected to nature instead of commercial and like everything else.

From Finland to Sweden and Denmark, we looked at every company going and just couldn’t find what we wanted. So we built it instead.

Well, when we say we built it…Adam did.

But we’re not talking any DIY build.

Adam spent months researching and learning. It took nearly 12 months to learn and design, so Adam knew it would be technically perfect. He spoke to every sauna company in the UK and squeezed all their info out of them…and then made something even better.

We’re so in love with it. Adam often just goes and sits in it on his own. It’s his sanctuary and we realised there was something really important about a private sauna.

Lots of community saunas are available, but we loved always having a sauna alone or only with friends.

So once it was built and ready to share, we decided to make it private bookings only. So you’ll never arrive and be sat next to a stranger.

Always private. Never any strangers.

We also wanted the price to be affordable. Over £100 to sauna on your own is something most people will never be able to afford. But we don’t think that should stop you being able to. So to book our sauna as a person on your own is only £30 for an hour. If it’s you plus a friend it’s £40 total for the hour. You plus up to 5 friends is £60. Or you can upgrade, and have the sauna for 2 hours at a slightly higher price (but nothing crazy).

To allow us to do this, we only run the sauna Saturday and Sunday mornings and bookings run back to back with 15 mins in between for us to reset / clean ready for the next guest. Having the sauna running continuously keeps our costs down and allows us to share this space with you.
